Jack Carona

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Carona has served as the Chief Operating Officer for White River since March 2024. Mr. Carona is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in Petroleum Engineering, having graduated from Louisiana State University. He has consistently provided guidance to drilling, production, and geological staff, played an instrumental role in discussions involving land, legal and accounting. Mr. Carona has reviewed and prepared Authorization for Expenditures (AFE's), while skillfully grading geologic prospects.

Mr. Carona held a leadership role as President of CCORE Holdings, an independent oil and gas producer in Mississippi, where he held a seat on the board. His expertise in operations was then harnessed by RAM Petroleum where he served as the Operations Manager, overseeing operations in Mississippi and Alabama. As a consultant and advisor, he has had the opportunity to assist numerous smaller independent oil companies in their drilling and re-completion programs. His acquisition, operation, and divestiture of South Louisiana deep Lower Tuscaloosa and Austin Chalk properties further demonstrate his adeptness in strategic planning and asset management. Over the span of his career, he has advised in the operation, completion, or drilling of over 2,000 wells in Mississippi, Louisiana, or Alabama, highlighting his comprehensive understanding of the industry. His multidimensional experience within the sector positions him as a distinguished figure in the oil and gas community.
